Do-It-Yourself Stylish 'Artificial Plant' Pots
Have you ever wanted to jazz up your artificial plant pots? Sometimes you can go shopping for new artificial plant pots to coordinate with or match to your interior design but just can't seem to find the right color, look or pattern. This happened to me, I wanted to put my artificial plants in new pots with bright vibrant colors. I looked everywhere but just couldn't find what I had pictured in my mind. One day, I was going through a cupboard and came across some left over fabric from my curtains that I had made to measure, and suddenly a light went on in my mind. 'Oooh I thought, I wonder how this will look?' You can imagine what I was thinking. Yes, you are right; I took the fabric, folded it down to few inches bigger than my largest pot and started to wrap the fabric around the pot. It was great! Just what I was looking for. I had enough fabric to cover two large plant pots. Each one I left a few inches of fabric at the top of the plant pot so that I could tuck it in to the top of the pot, then I tacked the fabric down around the back of the pot with some straight pins to tighten and fit the fabric neatly around the plant pot. Now, whenever I want to freshen up a room, I just look to see if I have any matching or coordinating fabric to wrap around my artificial plant pots. If I have nothing, I just go to the nearest fabric shop and pick up what I need from there. It's inexpensive and gives a new look to any room or space.
